Village Pickle™ in Leesburg getting higher ceilings

Loudoun County’s first dedicated indoor pickleball facility, Village Pickle™, at the Village at Leesburg, will be delayed to improve gameplay conditions. Originally slated for a January opening, plans are being reworked to raise the ceilings to approximately 18 feet for better playability. This adjustment, though delaying the opening until March, aims to enhance the experience for members and guests. The facility, operated by USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation, will initially feature four courts, with plans to add four more later this year. CEO Tara Fitzpatrick-Navarro expressed excitement for the improved design and thanked the community for their enthusiasm.
