Village Pickle™ is thrilled to announce that Cameron Maher has joined the village as the Director of Pickleball. Cameron is a dedicated racket sports professional with over six years of experience in the industry. A 2021 graduate from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, Cameron earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. His love for sports began at age 12 when he started playing tennis, eventually competing at the Division 2 collegiate level.
After discovering pickleball three years ago, Cameron quickly became passionate about the sport, coaching and playing regularly. His experience includes coaching at the college level for tennis, and serving as Head Pro for tennis and pickleball at multiple renowned resorts across the U.S., including locations in Maine, Vermont, and Aspen, Colorado.
Cameron has had the unique opportunity to collaborate with top pickleball pros, including Ben & Colin Johns, AJ Koller, Anna Leigh Waters, Riley & Lindsey Newman, and many others. These experiences have shaped his coaching style and helped him grow as a player and instructor.
Outside of racket sports, Cameron is an avid traveler, having visited 22 countries throughout his life, further enriching his understanding of different cultures and perspectives. His commitment to the sport and passion for helping others improve is reflected in his dynamic coaching approach.
