USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation is set to open Village Pickle™, Loudoun County’s first dedicated indoor pickleball facility, in January. Located at the Village of Leesburg, the center will initially have four courts, expanding to eight in the summer. The concept originated from Henry Fonvielle, president of Rappaport, and gained traction after a successful temporary setup last summer. The USTA’s involvement aligns with its focus on health and wellness, providing benefits for both tennis and pickleball players. Village Pickle™ aims to be inclusive, catering to players of all ages and skill levels.
The facility will offer instruction, a welcoming environment, and a central location with various amenities. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Village Pickle™ will feature a monthly membership fee of $125, with special founding membership packages for the first 200 members. The USTA-operated center emphasizes collaboration between the two sports and aims to create a home in Loudoun County. The facility’s location at 1606 Village Market Blvd SE Suite C-115 in Leesburg will provide a comprehensive experience with nearby entertainment options.
