Loudoun’s First Dedicated Indoor Pickleball Center Headed to Leesburg

Loudoun County’s Village at Leesburg will welcome Village Pickle, its first dedicated indoor pickleball facility, in early January. Operated by the USTA Mid-Atlantic, the facility will occupy a nearly 24,000 square-foot space, featuring four courts initially with plans to add four more in July. Pickleball’s surging popularity, with over 48 million American adults playing in the past year, has led to the repurposing of large retail spaces nationwide into indoor pickleball courts. Village Pickle follows this trend, offering memberships with special access to courts, lessons, and leagues. The facility caters to the rising demand for pickleball while providing a solution for repurposing large retail spaces in the changing landscape of commercial real estate.
